We made it!!!

Hi everyone,

Sunday night, we left Florida on a trip to Virginia. It was a LONG drive so we left at Caydin's bedtime in hopes that he would sleep most of the time {afterall, he did GREAT sleeping in the car on our 10 hour drive to North Carolina when he was 9 months old}.

WELL, 3 months can really change a baby.... BECAUSE he figured out that something was going on and did NOT want to sleep in the car. He did great sleeping the first 4 hours but then was awake, then asleep, awake, then asleep and so on for the rest of the trip.

BUT, while Katie did a lot of this...

and watched this ALOT...

we did finally make it to VIRGINIA!!!

it took some of this....

and A LOT of this....

to make it the next 4 hours to Centreville, Virginia where Grandma and Grandpa live...

We threatened Grandpa that we WILL not drive the car back to Florida next week. We said we would leave the car in Virginia and BUY a new car in Florida before we drive back with Caydin again! Hehe, so we are looking into taking the Auto Train back {which we were already planning to do anyways!}

Caydin was tired from not sleeping in the car very much, so he had a 4 hour nap in the afternoon! Since Caydin has Grandma, Grandpa, and Aunt Katie here to play with him, I've had time to play on Katie's computer with photoshop. Here are a few pictures that I have been playing with...

He never really liked being on the playset before but he was really interested in the wheel. He even climbed up the step {behind him in the picture} once or twice.
