#embracethecamera

A couple weeks ago, I joined a little Instagram fun where I had to post pictures that I was actually in! Easier said than done! Here are the pictures I posted that week! :)

This is the post where I announce that I no longer have a baby, I have a toddler!

This picture has nothing to do with the post but I sure did think it was funny.  Caydin came out of his room one day wearing Wyatt's shirt - a 24 month size tee-shirt.. at 5 years old! HA! I guess that's one of the downfalls of having matching shirts! :)  Another downfall is that their matching shirts are in the same closet!

Do you notice anything about these pictures???

Sweet little Wyatt is no longer a BABY! WAAAA!
We've been having some trouble with our cloth diapers leaking so we decided to get rid of the diapers and just wear underwear!

Amazingly enough, Wyatt was SUPER EASY to train.  A few accidents in the morning but by afternoon, he was telling us when he had to go potty and keeping his underwear dry! And he's not even two yet!!!  GO WYATT!
He also figured out very quickly that he could keep his diaper dry during nap and bedtime! Super awesome!
Only bad part.... he now wakes up in the middle of the night most nights and yells that he has to go potty! There goes my great sleep at night! :P

Chicago Part 3

(I meant to post this awhile ago but forgot - so here you go!)

After a few days, we moved hotels to be close to the site of the wedding we were supposed to go to.  Wyatt liked the refrigerator in the new hotel room. HA!
We decided to not take the little kids to the wedding/reception (after A LOT of drama) so Katie, Jen, and I stayed at the hotel room with the little kids.  We headed to the Arby's right next door for dinner. Maddy was loving dinner... TeeTee was not! HAHA!
I wish I could say that the kids were all so well behaved at Arby's but THEY WEREN'T! Well, I take that back, Maddy was PERFECT! Wyatt and Jay didn't really want to eat anything.  Caydin thought it was his job to run around the building like a crazy person.  Of course, the little guys wanted to do the same.  We left shortly after they all got crazy!
On Sunday, it was time for everyone to fly home.  While the rooms were being packed up, we stuck the boys in the pack-and-play.  Despite what the picture makes you think, none of the boys liked being in there and it only lasted long enough to take a picture! BOOO!
We really liked getting to spend time with Great Grandma and Great Grandpa and our cousins but I think everyone was ready to go home.  We all missed our space to run around and our own rooms!  Caydin had to finish some homework on the plane and thankfully Wyatt took a nap on the plane!
We finally arrived back in Orlando, took one last ride on the airport monorail and headed home!
This was Caydin the next morning. I had to dress him and brush his teeth while he slept.  He then slept the whole way to school. I can't blame him though - we didn't get back to our house until about 10 pm the night before!

We love Maddy!

Aunt Tee-tee and Maddy made a pretty sudden decision to move back to Florida for a great job opportunity for Tee-tee.  That means that we get LOTS of Maddy time.  My boys ABSOLUTELY love Maddy, even Wyatt does! Wyatt helps with bottles and lets Grandma know that she is crying or sleeping.  He also loves to give her the pacifier (even when she doesn't need it).  My boys hate to share with eachother but they LOVE to share their favorite toys with Maddy!  Caydin enjoys tickling her and always calls her "Sweet Maddy" or "Cute little Maddy".  He gets very upset if he doesn't get to say goodbye to Maddy when he leaves the house.  While we know that Tee-tee and Maddy probably won't live close by forever, we are DEFINITELY enjoying this time!
(Not sure why the bottom picture is upside down!!)
