On Thursday, we took the Metro over to Washington D.C. to do some sightseeing. It was Caydin's first time on a train!
My dad had to do some work stuff in D.C. so we met him there. The kicker was that we had to bring his carseat on the Metro with us because we were going to ride home with Dad after seeing all the sights. So poor Katie had to carry the carseat until we met up with Dad. Such a tourist....

Thats the Washington Monument in the background, the building that we went up 500 feet to look through the teeny tiny windows to see all the monuments and buildings. Pretty cool!
In front of the White House, moments after this picture, the police officer kicked everyone off the sidewalk and announced that the "sidewalk was closed". We go there just in time to get a picture!
