Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween from Caydin and a few of his playgroup friends!
The UPS guy, Kitty, Pumpkin, and Buzz Lightyear scored big time in the candy department (and even in the dental department - each kiddo got a new toothbrush!) and had a great time going house to house! Not only did they get to trick-or-treat but they all thought it was great to pass out candy when another kid rang the doorbell!

Letter Learning with Daddy

Daddy's new phone is great for "school time" with Caydin.
He plays an ABC game on there that has him naming letters, matching them, and finding uppercase/lowercase letter matches!
Caydin is definitely better than me at using the phone!
He can play Angry Birds like no other.
Makes me kind of want one of those neat phones - but I know I'd be addicted to all the apps and facebook stuff if I did! :)

Pumpkin Faces!

Caydin thought doing pumpkin faces with stickers was a LOT of fun!

Almost 36 week appointment

Yesterday, I had my 35week/4 days appointment for Mr. Wyatt! Everything is going great - and I was so happy because I didn't have to wait a long long long time to have my 5 minute appointment! Woot-woot!  I've gained alittle less than 20 pounds since we found out we were having baby number 2.  Yay for that!  I love when I hear people tell me how "I'm all baby" - hopefully that means I'll be wearing my pre-Wyatt clothes soon after his birth!
We are going for appointments weekly now and the doctor says that if Wyatt decided to come now- no one is going to stop him. Sweet - I've been talking to the little guy about coming before his due date already! LOL!
I go a week from Monday for the next appointment - we'll get to schedule our 2nd ultrasound on that day.  FINALLY!
Mr. Wyatt had a great heartbeat and our doctor can already tell that he is head down and in the right position.
So bring on the hot sauce and the bouncy yoga ball!

Last weekend, when the boys were all gone, we worked in Wyatt's room some! Here is a few sneak peeks!

Painting Pumpkins!

Since my belly is as big as a pumpkin... we decided to paint little pumpkins instead of carve a big one this year!  Such a great choice!  Very little mess to clean up and Caydin had a lot of fun too! I can't imagine that he would of really enjoyed touching the sticky insides anyways... He's not much of a messy kid.

The pumpkins came out really cute! We let them dry for a couple days and then added face stickers.  Caydin was proud of all 4 little pumpkins! :)
Pictures of the pumpkins with their little faces coming soon!

Like Grandma, Like Grandson

While Daddy was out of town this past weekend, Grandma came over to stay with us.  We cleaned out both Caydin and Wyatt's room.  (Grandma did most of the work!)  Caydin did a lot of work too - just not the kind we were looking for.... he did the kind where you put something away and he got it (and 5 other things) right out again.  So most of our work got done during naptime or Bob-the-Builder time! :)
Caydin's closet got cleaned out - we had lots of baby stuff hiding in there!
We also got Caydin's bookshelf cleaned off.  We split the books up and put the boardbooks in Wyatt's room!

Whatever Grandma did, Caydin had to do too.. Thats just how we work around here!

I ran into the pet store on Saturday to get a bag of hay for KoBe...
This is what I saw when I came out!

Like Grandma..... Like grandson!

Wordless Wednesday - Boo at the Zoo

Caydin got his first tattoo at Boo at the Zoo.  He thought it was really cool.
Thankfully, his tattoo came off just 2 days later!!!!

My Grandpa takes me on the best field trips!

Caydin knows that his grandpa lives in Virginia.  When we ask him if he wants to go on an airplane, he responds - "YES!" and when we ask him where we should go, he says - "We go to Virginia!"

(These pictures are from almost 3 weeks ago - I finally stole them from my mom's phone!)
The last few times that Grandpa came to town, they went on trips to the dump (YES, THE DUMP!) and the fire station.
I think Caydin can sit in the car for hours and watch the garbage trucks dump their trash and the dump trucks drive up the dirt/trash hills.
Usually, we drive by a firestation as a reward for being a good listener at gymnastics.  He asks EVERY WEEK if we can go.  We can just pass a firestation while driving on the highway or down the road and he knows exactly where they are.  When Grandpa came to visit last time, they actually got out of the car and got to look at the firetruck and ambulance.  A nice firefighter came out and talked to them and gave Caydin a fire hat.

Wyatt's Baby Celebration!

Last Saturday morning (10/15), we celebrated Wyatt's soon-to-be-birthday with friends and family! We had such a good time and were so thankful for everyone who could make it!  The kids had a lot of fun too playing outside in the bounce house!  We had the celebration at our good friends Andrea and Shiv's house.  Andrea, Shiv, and Erin did all the planning - I didn't do anything! They are so great!  Everything had an elephant theme!  :)  Katie made our elephant cake.  Loved that!  (Can you tell I loved everything about our shower!?!?)
We got so many wonderful gifts!  Caydin did a great job helping us open them! Though he got bored after about 3 gifts!  We got diapers, wipes, baby outfits, bottle stuff, blankets, and so much more! One of these days, I'll take a picture of everything!

Going along with the elephant theme, we even had a sign for the bathroom! LOVE!
I forgot to get a picture of all the playgroup mommies before Lauren left but here is Andrea, myself, Erin, and Aya! (Aya - the donuts were amazing!)
My bestest drove all the way from Melbourne to come see me! We haven't been able to visit in forever!  So thankful for facebook and all the messages we send back and forth!
Love this sign - can't wait to hang it in Wyatt's room! :)

Dear Wyatt,
We can't wait to meet you!
Hurry up and get here! Just don't come too soon - your room isn't quite ready yet!
You already have a great big brother who can't wait to meet you!
Love, Mommy, Daddy, and Caydin

Our Outdoor Pets

They think they are part of the family....
They use our shade to rest...
They use our grapefruit tree to snack on...
And our grass as a main meal...
They don't even get up when we come out to watch them...
Nor do they run home when Caydin announces "I'M BEING SNEAKY" in his loudest whisper voice...

Green Rice

Cheap and fun!
A few days ago, I dyed some rice green.
I let it dry for a day outside on the porch.
I put it in a little storage container.
The storage container got dumped out by Daddy.
The boys made lots of roads for the construction trucks to drive on.
Caydin was entertained for a good 45 minutes!
Clean up was super easy!
Whatever stayed on the white paper went back into the container.
The rest got vacuumed!

Today, Caydin played with the green rice again.
I asked him to keep it in the storage container.
2 minutes later, it was dumped out onto white paper.
I asked him why.
He said, "I do it like Daddy did the other day."
Alrighty then.
