Rob and Caydin went to the grocery store the other day to get dressing for hot wings.  They came back with this!!!!
Caydin came in the door yelling "SURPRISE!!!"
It was so cute!
I heard Caydin picked them out all by himself! :)

Caydin's favorite phrase!!!

"I smell something stinky!"
Usually he says it in the car but he has been known to say it at home, in the grocery store, at playgroup... You get the point! LOL!

Seaworld

Our littlest monkey took his first big trip to Seaworld! We were going to see the "Max and Ruby" show buuuuuuut it was super crowded and the show didn't have any tickets left by the time we got to that side of the park. It didn't really matter though... since we didn't tell Caydin about the show and he probably hasn't seen those characters in a year or so (we've become Thomas-Chuggington-BobtheBuilder sort of family).  We got to see our bestests... which made Caydin (and me!) super happy because he has been asking to see Landen for weeks now!  The weather was perfect and the animals were all out and swimming around.  Caydin REALLY enjoyed seeing the animals.  The dolphins were a favorite - we picked a good spot to watch them at.. because they were jumping around and swimming RIGHT in front of us! Awesome!
Before heading home, we went to the Sea Lion show.  Very cute - Caydin loved it!
Wyatt stayed in his carrier almost the WHOLE time.  He only came out for a bottle during our lunch time.  :)
I wish I took a few more pictures but i was juggling Caydin, a diaper bag, and my camera! :) My mom definitely scored big when she volunteered to "wear" Wyatt. HA!

They like to help me cook. :)

These pictures are from about 2 weeks ago... you can tell by the Christmas tree behind Caydin...
We did finally get the Christmas tree out to the garage! :)
Wyatt seems to do very well sitting in his bouncy chair in the kitchen and Caydin was busy lining up his trucks.
It was a good evening to cook!
Now if only we had a magic bottle cleaner... Life would be REALLY good!

Wyatt turns 2 months!

Warning: LOTS of pictures in this post!! (But how could I resist... he is so stinkin cute lately!)
First off, we have been rocking the cloth diapers lately!  It's going great! We use them during the day and still use disposable diapers at night or if we are away from the house for a long time.  Each time we put a cloth diaper on, I like to think I'm saving about 20 cents! LOL!
 At 2 months,
Wyatt is getting into a new routine.  He is awake more during the day and sleeps pretty well at night (he is usually up once between 2 and 3 then up again around 5:30ish).
He wears all 3 month clothing (but there may be a few 0-3 month clothing still in his closet/bins thata fit).
He's a spit-up-er!  Like seriously!   At what age do they stop spitting up?  We go through about 3-4 bibs a day.  He'll go a day or two without much spit up then will spit up every bottle.  It is very random.
He smiles alot now!
He wears cloth diapers now (During the day).
He does tummy time but doesn't really like it.
He would rather be kicking his legs and wiggling his arms on a blanket on the floor.
He has found his fingers and sucks on them all the time.
He smiles best on the changing table :)
He sleeps in his own bed, in his own room.
He likes sleeping in the swing.
He wears a size 1 diaper.
and...
 we
 love
 him
 a
 whole
bunch!
And we're done!!!

Making the teacher in Mommy proud!

I love when Caydin and I get to spend a couple minutes doing "school work".  Caydin is so so so smart (I'm pretty sure all mommies always think that their little kids are THE SMARTEST!)  but Caydin is really picking up his letters and sounds lately.  He is a little sponge.
He enjoys doing sheets with his crayons.
He LOVES to do alphabet activities on Daddy's phone.
He's a lefty and holds his crayons and scissors all crazy.
He writes the letter C when asked to write his name.
He traces dot letters very well.
He knows all his shapes and colors.
He can count to 20.

He starts VPK in August.
How did that happen??

Cloth Diapers Day 1!

Wyatt wore cloth diapers for the first time on Sunday, January 15th.  We started with the gdiapers and we (Wyatt and myself) made it through the whole day (we used regular ol' diapers for overnight though)! Woohoo!!  Wyatt enjoyed the cloth diaper so much that he pooped in the first one we put put on him! The nice part about the gdiaper is that you just dump the insert and liner in the wet pail and keep using the actual diaper!  There really isn't a lot of laundry at all!  I washed the inserts after everyone went to sleep, so easy!  The only thing I wasn't expecting was the smell of the water when I dumped the wet pail into the washing machine - WOW! Note to self - plug nose before dumping!  Seriously though, using cloth was sooo easy and sooo worth it!  Besides LOOK HOW CUTE Wyatt is in the diapers!
Next up, trying out our Charlie Banana stash!!

Naps then playtime!

We love when both boys take a nap at the same time! :)

We also love when we get to spend time outside!  See Rob and Wyatt in the grass watching Caydin ride his scooter!?!

Wyatt! (6 weeks!)

I figure that I better get these 6 week pictures of Wyatt with his letter ornaments posted since he turns 7 weeks tomorrow!! Ahh!
At 6 weeks, Wyatt is still drinking between 3 1/2 oz to 4 oz of a bottle at each feeding.  He is much more alert now and starting to get on a good schedule.
He sleeps best when swaddled but also sleeps great if you let him sleep ON you.  He doesn't get that special treat often since he has a big brother who also wants attention!
The biggest change between 4 to 6 weeks is that he is sleeping in his own room now! Daddy has been ready to move him to his room since his 2nd or 3rd week.  Mommy was holding out.  We finally bought the cheapest baby monitor we could find (literally 16 bucks people and it works GREAT - none of these 300 dollar monitiors in our house!) and off to his room he went.
I was so worried that he would wake Caydin up with his crying since their rooms are right next to eachother but so far everything has been good.  Sometimes Caydin will get up around the same time in the middle of the night to use the bathroom but is very easy to put back to bed afterwards.
Wyatt started the transition to formula at 5 weeks and is doing great.
Mommy went back to work a few days after Wyatt turned 6 weeks old (which would explain why I'm not posting this until now!) so Wyatt is spending his weekday mornings with Grandma or Daddy.
Wyatt is holding his head up very well now and is starting to have more control over his arms and legs.  He loves to face forward and see whats around and also likes to stand.
This little guy has great lungs and will let you know when he wants something - i.e. his bottle!  WOW! He can be loud.
He is wearing 3 month onesies, sleepers and outfits and still fits into newborn pants.
He finally finished up the newborn diapers that we had and is wearing size 1 diapers now.  This week - we start CLOTH DIAPERING! WOOOOHOOO! (Cloth diapers are so stinkin cute! Get it... stinkin.... diapers.... hahah!)
