Oooohhh Instagram....

Well I got me a new phone! :) A fancy new phone. One with a fancy camera and all sorts of apps.
SOOOOO INSTAGRAM was born (in my phone anyways)...
It's kind of fun knowing that I can take a quick picture with my phone (and addicting as well!)

Wyatt loves playing under the chairs. :)
Caydin did some painting when Wyatt was napping.  The letters C and W. They came out really cute and will go on the wall in the toy room soon!
Caydin got this Hot Wheels Trio set for his birthday.  I love that the instructions come with different ways to set it up and I love that it is easy to take apart and hide for a few days.
He's always pretty happy looking out the back door at Grandma's house. I'm pretty sure he is giving us his cute smiles because he wants to be outside in the pool.  He's a water baby, for sure.
Monkey Joes..  Caydin runs around that place like he owns it. He has lots of fun there!
Wyatt and Makensie did some chatting in the strollers.  Wyatt wasn't really impressed with his stroller.  He wanted to be down on the ground, crawling around.  It must be tough being 8 months old...
Wyatt is trying to figure out how to stand on his own.  He gets into his position and tries hard to get his foot out but hasn't quite figured it out yet!!!
 Brotherly LOVE :)

Birthday Party Fun!

Caydin was SOOOOO excited about his birthday!  He had been asking for a construction truck party for months (despite me trying to convince him of a Lego party!)  Tee-tee made an awesome cake, the weather was hot but do-able, and the kids were all ready to play!  It was a great time! :)
Caydin had contruction hats and cone cups to share with his friends.  We set up the cornhole game, the bounce house, and put all his construction vehicles outside for the kids to play with.  :) We took breaks to come inside, eat, and cool off.
Happy 4th Birthday to my big boy Caydin!!!

Getting ready for the big PAAAARRTY!

While Caydin did LOTS and LOTS of swim time with Grandma and Grandpa, we were busy at home getting things ready for the party! We were also busy watching the little guys crawl ALL OVER THE PLACE!  Last time the babies were together, Wyatt wasn't quite mobile and while Jay could crawl, he was pretty content with hanging out in one spot! This trip was a totally different story! Both boys were EVERYWHERE! Luckily, we've pretty much baby proofed everything in our house so we weren't worried about where they were most of the time!

Katie worked on the cake.  It turned out amazing! I'll post pictures with the birthday party stuff!
Mr. Teething baby was happy to have someone his size to play with, even if they took toys from eachother and liked to grab at one anothers face! :)
Wyatt: "Who is this crazy lady??"
Tee-tee: "It's meeeee, Teeee-teeeee!"
Blurry :( But Wyatt was sort of grinning!
Wyatt has all the chub, Jay has all the length!
And a shout out to my trusty friend.... my old school cell phone.  These pictures were taken a week ago, but last night, sniff sniff, my phone took a dive off the table and died. :(

Birthday Boy!

Before I start sharing pictures of our amazing birthday weekend, I wanted to share some pictures of our splash park date with Lauren and Madi.  Oviedo has a REALLY nice swim area for kids!

On Friday morning, we surprised Caydin with a trip to the Orlando Fire Museum.  I didn't actually know it existed until Erin told me about it! So Grandma, Grandpa, Rob, Wyatt, Erin, Carter, and Makensie met Caydin and I over there Friday morning to check it out! Caydin calls it the "Old Fashioned Firestation".  It was really neat (AND FREE!) The big boys had fun looking at all the old firetrucks.  They got to see how the fire alarm used to work, and even went upstairs to see how the fireman used to sleep.  They asked the firemen tons of questions. :) I liked looking at all the newspaper articles and pictures that were posted on the walls.

Caydin the Monkey turns 4!!!!

I can hardly believe that Caydin is 4!!!
We had a great birthday weekend celebrating with family and friends!
Last Wednesday, Grandma and Grandpa drove down from Virginia and surprised Caydin at gymnastics.
On Thursday, Tee-tee drove down and surprised Caydin with a REALLY late night visit (Caydin was tooooo sleepy to realize that she was even here!)
On Friday, Caydin was surprised with a visit to an old Firestation muesum.  Inside, he saw lots of old firetrucks!  After a quick trip to the dump with Grandpa, Oma and Opa came for a visit.  We made sandwiches for lunch and had lots of play time!  Daddy went to the movies (to see the new Batman movie) Friday night so Mommy, Tee-tee and the boys went swimming at Grandma and Grandpa's house.  (Mommy and Tee-tee even went for a 2 and a half mile jog).  After swimming, we headed home to see Uncle Jay, Auntie Jen, and cousin Jay and Caydin had a sleepover with Grandma and Grandpa!
On Saturday, Mommy and Tee-tee got the party stuff all together and did a little bit of running around for last minute stuff.  Caydin did A TON of swimming in the morning! First with Grandpa, then Uncle Jay, then Daddy! Then it was PARTY TIME!!!!!
We are so thankful for everyone who was able to come and celebrate another year with Caydin!
On Sunday, we spent some more time with Tee-tee, Uncle Jay, Auntie Jen, and cousin Jay before everyone headed home.  In the afternoon, we spent time with Oma and Opa before they headed home too.
On Monday, Caydin woke up to 60 balloons on the floor in his room!  We had to get up early for swim lessons.  When I called Caydin's name to wake him up, he responded "I can't get up, there is balloons all over the room!"  After swim lessons, we headed home for play time (and nap time for Mommy and Wyatt!) Then Caydin and Daddy fell asleep on the couch!  After everyone had a nap, we headed out to get frozen yogurt with all the toppings that Caydin wanted! :) Finally, we headed home to wait for our friends to come and play!
Such a BUSY and FUN birthday for the Cayman!
Caydin has changed some much this year!

Some days, we like to stay home! :)

It doesn't happen often, but some days we stay home! Here are a couple pictures that I took from our "at home" times!
I'm always trying for a good "brotherly" picture! :) I think this one is pretty good!
Caydin's "countdown until birthday" chain!  He rips off a link everyday!

Little man and his addiction for our kitchen table chairs!
Wyatt thinks he is so big, he can pull up and stand at the train table now. When Wyatt started crawling, we told Caydin that he had to keep his small toys on top of this table... well... now we keep the small toys in Caydin's bedroom with the door closed! There doesn't seem to be a place where Wyatt CAN'T get!

I thought it was so sweet when I found Caydin and Wyatt (this was before the "small toys in bedroom" rule) reading together.  Caydin knows just about all the trains by name or by what they do.  When they were on the floor together, Caydin got mad because Wyatt kept grabbing the book so he moved up to sit on his bed, in true teacher fashion!

Backyard Fun

I could post about a million pictures of the boys on the back porch playing in the little pools (thank you Target for super cheap kiddie pools!).  We are outside just about every evening (and sometimes in the morning too!).  We can't wait to get back over to Grandma's house to go swimming in the big pool but thats alittle tough right now with Grandma/Grandpa out of town and Rob with only one "working" leg! Caydin is easy to entertain while outside and Wyatt will hang out in the water for awhile.  When he gets bored, he usually has his evening bath, then back outside to walk around in the walker.  Being outside wears both boys out and makes bedtime SUPER easy (which makes mommy SUPER happy!)

(one of these days, I will put Wyatt in his bathing suit when we go outside!)

(as you can see, Wyatt bee-lines for the pool when the sliding glass door opens, and is usually soaking wet before I can get his clothes off! He doesn't even mind the rough cement on his knees!)
