The Dollar Bin

It's true what they say... You spend tons and tons of money on expensive toys and games.... and all the kids want to play with is dollar bin toys and boxes.  These toys came from Target.  Caydin loves his "parm truck" and animals.  Except he likes to tow the goat behind the truck and always wants to make the horse drive.  He's got a good imagination.  When the horse isn't driving and the animals aren't all playing together (nicely of course) in the bed of the truck, then Caydin is busy inspecting the wheels and "fixing" something on the bottom of the truck. 

This might just be the best dollar toy we've found yet.  Just sayin.

On a side note, aren't you all just so excited that his hair is growing back! We are finally getting used to the short hair (definitely the easiest way to get rid of bedhead!) but I still can't wait for it to grow back!

Silly Daddy

Caydin thought Daddy riding in the motorized cart was BY FAR the funniest thing at Sea World.  In fact, so did everyone else! Rob definitely knew how to make that thing GO and even did some off-roading off-sidewalking.  If he had a horn, things would have turned scary! HA! The park was pretty empty yesterday morning which was great but it was also pretty chilly (not so great!) but we all had a wonderful time!  We went for 4 other families and had a total of 6 kids and 12 adults with us.... quite a big group!  We got to see the sharks, polar bear, penguins, stingrays, walrus ("Come out walrus!" - the big boys yelled through the glass OVER and OVER... and amazingly enough, the walrus usually came swimming by right around the time they yelled!), seals, turtles, dolphins, and of course the whales.  I have ton of more pictures that I am going to put on the small college and will post in alittle bit!

I'm so glad Rob and I have passes to go back all year. We had a GREAT time!

Happy half birthday Caydin! I know we had a great day, filled with lots of love, laughter, and friends! Can't believe there is only 6 months until you turn 3! AHHH! 

Being a Boy....

Sometimes a guy has to do what a guy has to do....... even if it means fixing your mo-toe-cy-yell with wodden puzzle pieces.

The weather has been bee-you-tea-full lately!  Caydin and I headed outside to draw with chalk, pick some weeds, and ride the motorcycle.  Caydin has a thing for parking his motorcycle (or any bike) all over the yard and then announcing that he just "park the tar".  We must go shopping A LOT because he definitely knows a lot about parking. LOL!  The other day, he decided to park his "mo-toe-cy-yell" between my car and Rob's car.  Pretty genius, I think! (Though we all know that he is already a genius!) I thought it was great and he did too!

Brevard Zoo with the Mentillo's

On Saturday, we headed over to Brevard zoo to spend a few hours with our bestests. Caydin was excited to head to the zoo.  He's at an age now where if you tell him where we are going, he'll remember and be excited about it.  We told him we were going to the zoo before we left and asked him what animals he wanted to see.  He responded that he wanted to see the giraffe.  When asked why, he said that "giraffes are really high."  Hahah, almost a conversation! :)

 The giraffes were REALLY friendly (either that or really hungry for our crackers!).  They were very close and stayed nearby.  The boys were able to feed the giraffe a cracker and pet him/her.  Very cool!

We headed home after petting the goats.  Great day, great weather!

Picture Review

I've been reviewing with my kids at school A LOT lately.  They seem to have forgotten everything they learned prior to Christmas break OVER christmas break.  Isn't that great?!?! 4 months of learning... gone... in 2 weeks! WOW!
SOoooooo, I've been slacking in the blog department.  (not because of my kids at school.... but because I've been busy.) 

I've started going to the gym.  I enjoy it... but it takes place of my blogging time. Boo.

So anyways, here's a summary of the past few days.

Buzzzzzzzed Head

Rob has the week off.  Babysitting for a week, boredom, and hair clippers should never be together because this is what happens....

My poor baby has no more hair.  It was a sad, sad, day when I came home from work.  Rob warned me a few days before he did it that he was thinking about doing it.... but I didn't believe him.  (Note to self: hide hair clippers when Rob is watching Caydin.)  I miss my little guy's hair.  I know its only hair and it'll grow back in a couple weeks. But man, I sure miss it!

Plus, Rob promises not to shave his head again until he is older.  He didn't realize just how blond Caydin's hair was until he shaved it! We both agree that his little buzz cut is cute but would look cuter on a little brown/black haired kiddo! :)

SO, GROW HAIR, GROW!
