One of the perks of living near a theme park.... is you get to go whenever you want and you can usually find a really good price if you wait long enough! Caydin's first time to anything Disney was back in November when we went to Magic Kingdom with our playgroup friends. We haven't been back since. BUT we couldn't pass up Florida's 4 day park pass for only $119! So on Thursday (while I was *sick* from work) we headed over to Animal Kingdom. The weather was great and the crowds weren't bad at all. We first stopped at alittle kiddie ride in Dino Land. Caydin thought it was great!
Katie and mom didn't think it was so fun being stuck in the little triceratop. HA!
Caydin thought the monkeys were silly. One monkey was playing with a canvas bag. He jumped around with it on his foot. At one point, he had the bag over his head in a game of peek-a-boo! One of the employees told us that they fill those bags with treats every morning.
Then we went on the safari ride. I remembered it from when Rob and I went a long time again. (A walk down memory lane... Rob and I went to Animal Kingdom when Caydin was about 5 months old. It was there that we got the phone call saying that our offer was accepted on the house we live in now. We were both so excited to own a house and get out of our 3rd floor apartment!)
Dressed to impress.... Disney style!
Must have photo spot. Mount Everest is in the background. It's the home of a really neat roller coaster. Mom and Caydin went on a little train ride while Katie and I rode the roller coaster. Fast Pass is AWESOME! We walked right on and skipped the 30 minute wait!
Caydin especially liked the super wind we had on the tram ride back to the car! LOL!
Next up: Magic Kingdom!!!!
