A Visit to the Farm

Last Sunday, we headed over to the Greenmeadow's Farm to check out their animals and take pictures in the pumpkin patch (check the next post for pumpkin pictures!)

Caydin had a GREAT time! He loved all the animals, the old tractors, the train ride, and hayride!  We started with the ducks, then the goats.  The baby chickens (they were only 4 days old!) were my favorite! Uncle Jay let Caydin hold it and he loved that! Then we found out that the kids weren't supposed to hold the baby chickens! Oops!  Another first for Caydin was the pony rides.  He liked the first ride so much that he went and got in line again and took another pony ride!

Wyatt loved riding around in the stroller looking at all the animals and enjoying the sunshine.  Wyatt is always happy when he is outside.  (Except when he trips over a tree root and gets a cut on his nose - booo..)  He took his first train ride around the farm and thought it was great!

We ended the day with milking a cow.  Sweet lips was the cow's name.  She sure was nice... I mean with all these people milking her!  She wasn't so thrilled when Rob went up to milk the cow though so he didn't get too. :(

I love swings...

....mainly because when you put kiddo's in them... they are happy! And I can get some really good pictures! Our little buddy Jay is a hard one to get smiling with the camera. He doesn't share his cute smiles often!  So, I was super happy when I got a bunch of pictures of him! :)

 And here are my crazy kids.  Who both like to run from the camera... Swings again... to the rescue!

 Wy has found the slides. He isn't quite ready to go down them by himself but he sure does love going down the slide with his brother! :)

Playtime with Jay

We were so happy to hear that Uncle Jay, Auntie Jen, and cousin Jay were coming for a visit.  The babies have grown so much since the last visit - both are walking, stealing toys from each other, and attached to their mama's.  Jay is still taller but Wyatt is winning in the weight department.  It is so neat to see them interacting with eachother more and more each day.  When Jay came from a visit, Uncle Jay and Auntie Jen decided to spend the evening out at Halloween Horror Nights so Jay stayed with us (and Grandma - she rescued us that night!)  

We decided to walk to the park to distract Jay when his mama and daddy left plus it's pretty much a routine around our house to go to the park in the evening.  (Keeps Wy happy and gets alittle energy out of Caydin - win, win!)

But... we only had 1 stroller.. Not to worry though, Wyatt is the PERFECT BASKET BABY! :)

Please excuse the cheerios - Wyatt thinks spilling the bowl and eating off the rug is soooo much cooler than leaving the bowl on the table and taking a cheerio when needed!

Big Boy, Friend's Party, and an almost walking baby!

I sometimes feel like I don't post enough pictures of my big boy on my blog.  He's hard to capture on film! When I get out the camera, he usually runs away, claims he is busy working, or gives me some goofy grin that he will be embarrassed about in 20 years! HA! But I got a few good ones recently and have it share them. :)

 Later that day, we headed over to our friend's house for a birthday party.  Carter turned 5! He sure was the man of the party, whatever he said... all the other kids did. It was funny to watch!

 At the time, Wyatt wasn't walking on his own yet.  (This should be a hint to how far behind on the blog I am!) He mainly just walked the furniture.  He was quite excited when Shiv showed him that he would walk with this little pink stroller.  Of course, Arwen got out another walking toy and they did circles around the living room! :)
