Our Saturday

We started the morning with some of this....

{yogurt - for the first time}

Then we went to Kohls and Babies R Us

Mommy went to Home Depot and I stayed home with Daddy.

THEN, I got to do this...

AND MOMMY got to do this...
{she made me take a picture with it!}

AND DADDY got to do this...

Then this happened as I was eating dinner!!!!! {another first}

Monkey's future job

So this is a conversation between myself and my sister-in-law, Julie. She and my brother live in Colorado and we haven't been able to see each other in 3ish years (so they have yet to meet Caydin). They are heading down for Jays wedding at the end of June, yay!!!! Yesterday was Julies birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY JULIE! Here was our facebook conversation.

So I haave decided that Caydin will either be something related to cars or something related to numbers!!!! It was so funny to watch him go after the buttons on the keyboard and he did a realaly good job pressing them!

10 month photos

I meant to post these last week but we lost internet for a few days due to a storm!

I love Florida afternoon showers...

10 months old in his 12 month onesie.

We really aren't sure what happened but Caydin is VERY VERY afraid

of his Coldstone ice cream cakes. He gets one every month from his Aunt Katie but he now hates them for some reason. He did the same thing when he was 9 months old! He cries everytime the cake is near him but is all smiles when he can't see the cake!

Although it was impossible to get a good picture of him and the cake, I will never be able to forget how quickly his face changes from happy to scared =)
Quite a funny sight to see!

Did anyone else notice those super long legs he has??!?!!

Wordless Wednesday

10 months old

At 10 months old...

Caydin eats a big breakfast/lunch combo and a dinner.

Caydin drinks 3 to 4 8 oz bottles a day.

Caydin loves to watch cars drive by and loves to chew on car keys.

Caydin is always on the go and usually cries/whines during diaper changes just because he doesn't want to stay in one spot for more than 2 seconds!

Caydin has a great bed time routine... Dinner at 7, bath at 8, bottle then bed. He is usually in bed and asleep by 9 {which we love because we get to spend time with him after work and then he will sleep until 8 - 9 the next morning}

Caydin can walk very very well but still needs one hand to hold onto for balance. Pretty soon, he will not need that hand anymore =(

Caydin loves Kobe and Meow Meow (and just about any animal he sees)

Caydin still loves to watch Baby Einstein.

Caydin's favorite toy at the moment is this little ABC bug from Vtech. It has wheels on the bottom so he pushes it all over the living room. Then he will hide it under a rug or under the couch.

Caydin loves his new carseat and hardly fusses in the car anymore.

Caydin loves sharing Daddy's ice-pops.

No new teeth this month, Caydin still has 6 (4 top, 2 bottom)

I can't think of anything else!

Here, I am attempting to show off Caydin's new IKEA bib!!

{which also came with a suction cup bowl, spoon, and sippy cup -- all for $2.99}

Did I mention that it is all dishwasher safe??

I posted a similiar picture for the Wordless Wednesday post. Caydin's new trick is to bite down on the spoon after you put it in his mouth.

When you go to pull it out, he laughs and laughs and laughs.

Rob thinks it is the funniest thing ever!

Birthday!

• Happy Birthday toooooooooo me!!!!

• We had a great dinner, including the yeeee-haw of the steakhouses employees and who could forget the "happy 21st birthday" screamed throughout the entire restaurant!!!!!

• OOOOH AND "you got me a fan?!?!?!"

• Caydin was scared and excited by the bows and ribbons!

Wordless Wednesday

KoBe Love

Everyone needs a little KoBe love!

IT IS possible...

I would just like to share that....

• IT IS possible that my kitchen table and coffee table be completely clear of STUFF!

• IT IS possible for my 10 month old to POOP everynight right at bedtime!

• IT IS possible to watch 2 shows at once (but only if you have a DVR and then can go back and watch each one individually later in the week!)

IT IS possible that I have the best MOTHER in the world...

for without her....

• my kitchen and coffee table would still be full of stuff
• my 10 month old MIGHT still be awake (with a full diaper of you-know-what)
• I might of forgotten to watch either one of my 2 shows that I watch on Mondays!

Afternoon at the Park

Caydin has the CUTEST summer clothes (including new summer sandels and a matching hat) so what kind of mother would I be if I didn't take him out to get some photos of him wearing them...

I am anxiously awaiting the start of summer.

It will officially start after 12 more student days and then 2 teacher work-days.

{I AM, however, so excited and relieved that I have a job to go back to in August.}

Caydin loves to walk everywhere now. He still needs a hand to help balance but very soon, we fear that he will be walking everywhere on his own.

Putting Caydin in the grass is the only way to get a picture of him. Here, he was so incredibly focused on some kids playing basketball that he didn't notice the camera at all.

Caydin is getting very good at balancing and standing on his own (for long periods of time)

Once in awhile, he falls and this happens....

(this is actually the first time we've seen blood {a drop of it} on Caydin due to a fall)

1. shut the door after you come in the bathroom.

2. visit and say hello to the drain in the shower.

3. crawl out of the shower.

4. double-check that the door is shut.

5. pick an outfit to put on after bath is complete.

6. check weight (his idea, not mine)

7. find rubber ducky.

8. and smile!
