What's new with the Wy-monster!!!

Oooooh this boy!

Ooooh the things I could say about him!

 

He definitely keeps everyone on their toes!

He is soooo demanding and full of attitude!

(Today, he was walking around the house saying "WHATEVER")

He is a daredevil.  He will climb anything and jumps off everything!

He talks non-stop. ALL. DAY. LONG.

He loves puzzles and will do the SAME puzzle over and over and over and over.

He wakes up early. Super early. Too early! (Anything earlier than my alarm clock is tooo early.)

He loves to be outside.

He loves Gymboree class.

He's a PRO scooter-rider.

He loves trains.  He hates hats. I thought buying a train hat would make him want to wear it.  It did. For about 1 minute.

Excited about soccer!

Mr. Big Man is signed up for soccer this spring! It will be his first official "team" sport!

He is pretty excited! Heck, I think we are all excited!

He will soon start having soccer practice on Tuesdays and games on Fridays! 

A few weeks ago, we headed over to the sports store for new running shoes for me and a new soccer ball for Caydin!

(I totally should have bought 2 balls - the boys fight over the soccer ball all the time now!!)

So most afternoons, we are outside practicing for soccer {and playing in the dirt!}

 

Rob started telling Caydin that he had to do 10 pushups whenever he touched the ball with his hands.  Caydin thinks it is pretty funny to do pushups.

I think it's pretty crazy that Caydin can do more pushups than me.

Pshh.

Wordless Wednesday {Reading.}

Since we signed Caydin up for soccer (more on that soon!), I thought it was only fair that I signed Wyatt up for something too!

 

So I signed him up for a couple weeks of art class! I think he really enjoyed it!  He did 4 weeks of cutting, painting, gluing, and sticking!

 

We are taking a couple weeks off because we have lots of stuff coming up over the next few weeks but we hope to start classes again when things calm down!

Caydin even got to join a class one week!

Cops and Cars Show

Kids are so lucky these days!!

 

Especially LITTLE BOYS who LOVE all things POLICE, FIRE, and AMBULANCE!

 

A few weeks ago, we headed over to a local event that featured a TON of police cars, old and new, fire vehicles, and even a couple helicopters! I have to be honest.  I was excited to be so close to a few helicopters! I've never been inside one.  Both boys got to sit in both the medical helicopter and the police helicopter. So cool! 

 

Not even 5 minutes after sitting in the medical helicopter, they got a call and had to take off.  That meant, we had front row seats to seeing the helicopter take off!  Another thing I've never seen!

 

We then got to see firefighters use their tools to cut the roof off a car! Caydin was HOOKED! He asked a MILLION questions and pretended to recreate that for days after. 

 

After that, we walked around, saw some very cool police cars, old vehicles, and the boys even got to play in a few bounce houses!

Cold days!

This is how we dress when it is about 40 degrees outside! HA!
