New Jammies!

Caydin needed some nice cozy jammies for his Christmas program and then for his movie day at school so I took him to the store to pick out a pair! :)

 

He picked Planes jammies.

 

He was super excited to wear them to school the next evening for the Kindergarten Christmas program!

 

Wyatt was with and had to pick a new pair of jammies too! (We are in the phase where ANYTHING brother gets or does, little brother HAS to get/do as well.)

 

Wyatt picked Thomas jammies!

 

We've had a couple chilly nights so the jammies have come in handy! :)

Big Towers!

Our little construction boy has been too busy to blog.  He has been working full-time designing all kinds of block/train cities!  I love seeing the different things he creates!

 

Wyatt loves to knock them down. 

 

Pictures on Thanksgiving!

While the turkey cooked and we girls were busy going through the Black Friday Ads... the boys were outside putting up the Christmas lights!

I took a few minutes to go outside and take pictures with the monkeys.  Oh. My. Word. Just getting a few pictures can be SO exhausting!

 

 

 

I thought taking a picture of 2 was nearly impossible... well taking a picture of 3 is totally impossible!

We sure love our Maddy though! 

Wyatt turned 2!

I'm a horrible blogger.

 

A few weeks ago, my sweet baby turned 2. Not really sure how that happened.  Wasn't he just born a few weeks ago?!? I'm pretty sure I say that for every BIRTHDAY BLOG I've EVER DONE!

 

Wyatt is just an awesome kid.

 

FULL of personality.

Here are some of the things he has been doing lately:

 

TALKING! Lots and lots of TALKING!

Using complete sentences too - I'm always so impressed by the things he says!

Attending Gymboree classes.  He LOVES them. We've already talked to them about starting him in the drop off school skills class at 2 and a half. 

Climbing! ON EVERYTHING!

POTTY TRAINED! YES! COMPLETELY. POTTY. TRAINED!!!

(His cloth diapers started to leak and I didn't want to take the time to fix them so I decided to put him in underwear - it literally took about 6 hours to potty train him. He started staying dry at night that same day.  A few weeks after that, we got rid of diapers during nap and bedtime too!)

He rides a scooter.  ALL OVER!  He wants a bike so bad but he little legs need to grow some more!

He loves Christmas - every night, we drive around looking for "Christmas" (i.e Christmas lights!)

Whenever he spots some, he yells "I FOUND CHRISTMAS!"

He YELLS! A LOT! He has one volume and its LOUD!

He wants to go to school with Mommy and Caydin.  Poor buddy - he has a late birthday and has to wait an extra year to start real school. 

Loves pets - especially Kobe and Rogue.

Loves legos, trains, and Peppa Pig.

Loves to do "homework" when Caydin is doing homework.  His homework consists of scribbling on a piece of paper!

Hates sitting in his highchair - he thinks he is big and wants to be treated like a big kid.  EXCEPT when Mommy is home!!! When Mommy is around, he prefers to be in her arms! "UP PLEASE" "PICK UP" all day long!

Wants an IPAD - stinker!

Little Teenager

I hear it all the time.

"I want to call (insert name here)."

He insists on hitting the green call button himself.

He talks to the person on the phone (sometimes he can have a pretty long conversation).

Then he MUST hit the red hang up button.  If the other person hangs up first, we have to call back so he can do it himself!

Love this kid.

Trick or Treat at Sea World!

We met up with our playgroup friends a couple week ago to do some early trick-or-treating at Sea World.  The boys had fun!

 

I had no idea what to dress the boys in since we hadn't figured out their Halloween outfits yet.  So they went as construction workers... only Wy kept his vest and hat on for about 2.4 seconds!

 

Here are a couple pictures of Caydin shaking his booty.  He is becoming quite the dancer!

 It was really neat to see the eagle up close!

 After trick-or-treating, we saw the seal show.  Wyatt loved it!

Wordless Wednesday - Weekend Fun!

Climb, slide, fall, repeat.

I ran 10 miles... again!!

I was ready this year... to tackle the Tower of Terror 10 miler!

I was really excited to run with my favorite co-worker and a whole group of family and friends!

We headed over to Disney Saturday afternoon, picked up our bibs from the expo, checked into our hotel, and headed out to eat with friends. 

 

After a 5 minute nap, we got up, got dressed and headed to the buses!  We weren't really excited about our 3 hours of waiting around in the parking lot but we had fun!

 

The run went great! We paced ourselves well and maintained our time the entire 10 miles! I even finished the race 10 minutes faster than I did last year! Super excited about that!

 

I'm pretty sure I'm done with this race but I'm getting ready (HAH, not really!) for a half marathon in February! Wish me luck!
