Spring Break 2012 - The stuff we did at home!

Caydin started spring break with a fever and cold... boo!!!! So we spent the first couple of days hanging around the house.  Rob's brother and family is in town this week so when Caydin felt better, we hopped over to Disney to spent time with them! So MUCH Fun!!!  I'm going to put the Disney pictures on a different post :)

While at home,

Wyatt spent time in his exersaucer.  He loves that thing. We aren't surprised since he also loves to stand!

 Caydin spent time drawing with chalk.  He is getting to be a really good artist! Here is his cat. :)

 Then Wyatt spent A LOT of time chewing on things!

 Rob spent time pressure washing the back porch.  As you can tell, it really needed it!

 Wyatt spent a lot of time smiling... he wasn't the sick one, remember! :)

 I spent time taking pictures.... which prompted Caydin to do the same!

 And Wyat... well he spent even more time smiling... Even for his big brother and play camera! HA!

4 months

Wyatt turned 4 months!!!!! (well.. he did 10 days ago!)

I think he is just the cutest baby in the world. 

I have never seen a baby smile as much as he does! And he laughs too! So cute!

He's growing and happy, so there's not much more we can ask for!

 At 4 months:

Wyatt weighs 13 pounds, 13 ounces.  We always think that he eats a lot more and is chubbier than Caydin was at the same age but everytime we head to the doctor, he's just a few ounces smaller than Caydin was at the same month.  We are always amazed by that!

Wyatt loves to stand and sit up.

Wyatt spits up. :( A lot.  Hopefully this will start to calm down in the next few months.  I'm always surprised when we warn people who want to hold him that he spits up because most of the time they will tell us about their son/daughter/whoever who did the same thing.  I really had no clue about spit up until Wyatt since Caydin never did it! 

Loves to chew on things... his fingers, toys, blankets, us...

The doctor mentioned that he could be an early teether... since we also have lots of drool. 

Wyatt used to be a really good sleeper, only waking up once a night.  But lately, he is up every 2 hours. We have figured out that if we get to him before he is full blown screaming that it is very easy to get him back to sleep.  It is however, pretty hard to get him to stay asleep in his crib.  So, he spends the first couple of hours in his crib, a few in the swing, and the rest with one of us on the guest bed. 

He hardly takes a pacifier.  My mom seems to have the magic pacifier touch... because he will sometimes for her but not usually for Rob or me. 

Not taking a pacifier makes it even harder to get him back to sleep at night!!

Thank goodness for his cute smiles, especially at 12, 2, and 4 in the morning!

He still loves bath time. LOVES it.

We are looking forward to starting some rice cereal in a bowl with him soon!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Playtime with Caydin

Caydin loves his cars. Loves them.

Each day he seems to be "into" a different type of vehicles... one day it is firetrucks, another day construction vehicles... this day it was his army trucks.

He is so detailed in his play.  He can tell you what his cars are doing, why they are doing it, and all kinds of other information that you probably don't want to know.

I love watching him play. 

What's even better than watching him play....

Caydin telling me that my camera is on fire and bringing his big firetruck (complete with sounds and everything!) over to put it out! Even more funny than putting the fire on my camera out.... is Caydin putting out a fire in the middle of the grocery store! LOL!  He is seriously the best 3 year old ever!

(I also love that Wy is kicking pushing Caydin with his feet!)

Baby Workout Classes

I'm considering signing Wyatt up for baby exercise classes....

Yup, he is ALWAYS kicking those legs!!!

(Just kidding about the classes... I don't have time for an extra thing in my schedule right now!!!!)

Arwen's Birthday Bounce House!

Arwen's birthday bounce house was a jumping good time!!!!

Even better than jumping was this little wall the kids found at the end of the bounce house.   If more than one kiddo leaned on it at the same time, it was fall forward.. They thought it was SUPER funny!  I was alittle worried that somone would get hurt... but telling a bunch of 3&4 year olds to stop playing on a blow up bounce house.... just. not. going. to. happen.  Everyone went home alittle red from the hot sun but perfectly fine! :)
