Stop growing! (and playtime!)

Wyatt loves trains. He has never sat through a baby show on TV but will watch CHUGGINGTON.  It's a good thing that I think that show is cute. :) It also helps that it comes on the Disney channel at 7:30 am! We have time to get Caydin ready for school without Wyatt screaming to be held or wanting food! So nice!

 

Lately, he has been reminding us over and over that he is no longer a baby.  He is saying a whole bunch of words! He is working on his list of "likes" and "dislikes".  He drives trains around on the floor and makes cute little "train sounds".  He also does things to make the rest of us laugh! Um, hello! STOP GROWING!

 

He loves to be with Caydin.  Lately, he loves to steal all of Caydin's favorite trucks and run away with them.  He loved it when he found Caydin hiding in some toy bins! I love getting to watch the boys interact with eachother.  

Big Brother Duties

Last week, Wyatt was having some tummy issues (we think!) so he wasn't eating as great as he usually does!  We tried just about everything.. new and interesting toys on the high chair, songs, tickles, funny faces.. When he decides he doesn't want to do something, he doesn't do it!

BUT....

Get Caydin in there and let him do the feeding and Wyatt opens his mouth EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.

Dear Caydin... looks like you just got a new job.. Love, Mommy!

Backyard Fun

I could post about a million pictures of the boys on the back porch playing in the little pools (thank you Target for super cheap kiddie pools!).  We are outside just about every evening (and sometimes in the morning too!).  We can't wait to get back over to Grandma's house to go swimming in the big pool but thats alittle tough right now with Grandma/Grandpa out of town and Rob with only one "working" leg! Caydin is easy to entertain while outside and Wyatt will hang out in the water for awhile.  When he gets bored, he usually has his evening bath, then back outside to walk around in the walker.  Being outside wears both boys out and makes bedtime SUPER easy (which makes mommy SUPER happy!)

 (one of these days, I will put Wyatt in his bathing suit when we go outside!)

 (as you can see, Wyatt bee-lines for the pool when the sliding glass door opens, and is usually soaking wet before I can get his clothes off! He doesn't even mind the rough cement on his knees!)

Caydin's first Lowe's project!

Uncle Josh brought over a kit from the Kids Build-and-Grow Clinic at Lowes.  Such a neat idea! Everything you need, minus the hammer, was in the kit and it was totally free!  Not only do you get the kit to make but you also get an apron and patches to put on it! Uncle Josh claimed that Caydin was "sick" so he brought the kit home to work on it. Caydin that it was the greatest thing ever!  I've already signed him up for the next one!

Weekend Cartoons and a Weekend Delivery!

Wyatt thinks his big brother is the best! Luckily, Caydin thinks Wyatt is pretty cool as well! Caydin seems to focus in on some show and wants to watch it a million times (right now the show is Busytown) but he also has a few DVD's that he likes to watch...  One being Wyatt's Baby Einstein (the one with vehicles, planes, and boats).. Wyatt could care less about the show but he likes being around Caydin (at least I think so).  So here they are last weekend watching a DVD together.

Last weekend, we also had our new table set delivered, finally! We ordered it about 2 months ago but I'm pretty sure they had to go to the other side of the world to find a tree to make it with :)  Anyways, we love the new one.  It's a circle squared counter-height table but it can be extended into a square table.  Awesomeness.  We had 6 chairs now so finally more people can eat at the table! :)

Such a great big brother!

He's going to make a great big brother!

Caydin really isn't an stuffed-animal loving kid though he does have a few.  One day, he was being very sweet and claiming that the blue Gators bear was the mama and the brown rabbit was the baby.  He fed both mama and baby stuffed-animals and then laid the baby on mama's lap. 

I love that the 3rd picture with Caydin feeding the blue Gators bear has his rocks next to the bear. LOL!
