Playgroup goes to the Beach - Indoor shots/Group pictures!

Well the note I left about "checking back tomorrow for the indoor/group pictures" turned into "check back next week for the next pictures"!!!!

 

This past week, I finished up the school year so I was extremely busy! My favorite work BFF got engaged on the last day of school! So cool! Then we had a couple days of cleaning/packing up the classroom! SO MUCH WORK!

 

Now we are getting ready for a road trip to see my first NIECE, MADDIE!!! We could not be more excited about meeting here! Caydin even insisted on telling our neighbor today about Maddie!

 

Anyways, back to beach pictures! There were a few times when we were inside, during meal times or naptimes.  It was amazing to see just how many toys the kids played with the whole weekend.  Maybe 5 total.  The cars were a hit and the blocks were fun to knock over.  They just had a great time playing with eachother and could care less about the toys for the most part!

 

Check back at some point to see Wyatt playing in the sand. I mean shells!

Playgroup takes on the beach at Palm Coast Florida!

Afternoons were spent down at the beach! Caydin, Carter, and Ava loved it! They jumped the waves and played in the sand. 

 

Arwen wasn't really into the sand and waves, nor was Makensie.  Wyatt loved the water and would run to the water then back out again.  He also liked the sand (though it wasn't really sand, it was crunched up shells!) 

 

The beach had beautiful shells all over so we had fun collecting some to take home!

Playgroup takes on Palm Coast Florida!

A few weeks ago, we headed to a new place for our annual Playgroup beach weekend.  We headed to a resort on the Palm Coast!  We had such a great time! The big kids are at a perfect age and want to be independent.  We really didn't have to worry about them much.  Arwen wasn't really liking the water at all.  The babies, Wyatt and M were... well babies... and had to be followed everywhere.  I was so thankful to have Grandma with us all weekend.  An extra hand to keep an eye on Wyatt.  Wyatt really had no fear of the water and would walk all the way in.  He constantly is splashing and always has his mouth wide open! He slipped a couple times and went all the way into the water but never cried when we lifted him up.  No FEAR!

 

We started each morning with breakfast at the condo then headed to the pool for a couple hours of fun in the sun.  Around lunchtime, we would head back up to the condo for food and naps for the little kids.  In the afternoon, we headed down to the beach to play in the sand and splash in the waves. 

 

We had such a good weekend.  We look forward to it every year! Next year, we've decided to switch coasts. :)

He did it.

He went and turned 18 months.

One and a half years old.

 

Stinker.

{almost} 18 months of Wyatt!

I'm not sure how he got so old!

He loves the camera!

He says "cheeeeese" all the time.

He loves to run. 

He ALWAYS takes a few steps backwards, yells "GO" and then starts running forward. 

He sings "Eee, Iii, Eee, Iii, Ooo" all the time and requests us to add the "quack quack" verses.

He loves to splash in puddles (and drink puddle water - groooooss!)

He drinks a juice box like a pro but still asks for a bottle at night.

He LOVES his penguin.  It goes everywhere with him. 

 

Rain, rain, GO AWAY!

We had about a week of rainy days here recently! The boys love to be outside and rainy days just aren't cool for them! So, if we know it's just rain, no thunder or lightning, we let them go play in the rain! Caydin loves his raincoat and fireman boots.  Poor Wy doesn't have a raincoat but, honestly, he could care less!

The only thing Wyatt cares about is when someone says, "It's time to come inside." Hence the face mid-tantrum! :)

This kid has personality!

This boy is FULL of personality.  One minute, he is happy and smiling, the next being sneaky and climbing something, and after that, throwing a tantrum because Caydin refused to give him a toy.  He's a mama's boy.  He loves his brother and says his name very clearly!

He turns 1 and a half this month and I just can't believe it!

I love his super blond long locks and the way he yells mama all day long.  I could go on and on but what fun is that?

He ran out onto the porch when it was raining and had a BLAST getting all wet.

He loves to walk around with the construction hat on but will pull off any regular hat right after you put it on!

He copies anything and everything that Caydin does.

He loves the camera and is great at saying "CHEESE"

He watches TV for a whooping 10 minutes (on a good day) then runs off to play.

But sometimes he will sit a couple minutes longer... when he wants to snack on his leg!! :)
