Music Class Baby

Welcome to Our Class song.... Caydin is showing everyone his dancing skills.... more like his rocking side to side skills!
Caydin loves that instrument!!! He is so nosy that he blocks the view for all the other kids... Sorry guys! He will literally stand right in front of his teacher while she is singing. He's that kid that is going to drive his teachers crazy in a couple years!
YAY! Instruments!!!! He loves this part of class.... until its time to share with the other kids... then he doesn't like it so much anymore :)
Bubbles!!!! I remember not so long ago when Caydin hated bubbles. Now he is amazed by them! (or maybe he is just watching to make sure none of them touch him!)
Play time! My child, secretly of course, loves the blue container more than the toys inside....
Scary huh??!!
We love Music Class and are excited to go back in January (today was our class Fall class). Caydin has made HUGE improvements since the first time I brought him when all he wanted to do was run around the circle as opposed to playing in the circle. He now loves all the instruments and especially enjoys running in and out of the parachute! Our only tough part is the 5-10 minutes of quiet time where we are supposed to relax and sing songs. My monkey would much rather be hiding or escaping through the doors (usually he brings a friend along with him!)

Sick Day

What do little boys do when they are sick??Why.... lay on the couch watching movies and reading books all morning!
(Thank God for the new book I got him yesterday at Scholastic... it really came in handy this morning)
Not so thankful for the flat tire I got while getting that new book for Caydin yesterday!
....And not so thankful for the price of 4 new tires *all my other tires were cracking and old
...BUT thankful because the news said that tire prices are going to go up (random)
...AND THANKFUL for the nice smooth ride I have when running from errand to errand all day long.
(Now back to my Sick Day Post)

After a good 2 hour nap, little sick man and Mama headed outside for some much needed sunlight! Little sick man even wore a hat the entire time we were outside. HOW CRAZY IS THAT?
Once I realized that little sick man wasn't going to pull the hat off 2 seconds after putting it on, I switched hats for a Gator photo session. Caydin's Uncle Jay would be soooo proud.
Not to mention... I think this picture came out really good! *Minus the whole twisted ear Dumbo thing.

Christmas Photo Session 2 coming tomorrow... I hope!

Christmas Photo Session 1

Christmas Cards were stamped, sealed, and mailed last week!!! I've been waiting anxiously to share my christmas pictures but wanted to wait until family/friends got them first! So, blog world.... here you go! These pictures are my favs from the 1st photo session I did with Caydin. (I seriously took like 100 pictures so narrowing it down to 5 is pretty good).
Thats right, I took these pictures all by myself. Sorry Sears, I did not (could not) spend another million bucks on photos! You (Sears) will just have to wait until Caydin's 18 month birthday to see us again!
I got Caydin all dressed up again for Christmas Photo Session 2 but those pictures will have to wait until tomorrow to get posted!

Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells

Prince Charming (read the shirt!!! - LOVE TARGET) has some Christmas announcements ;)
He'd like to show the world the christmas tree that he pulls and pushes on all day long. I think most of us are surprised the tree is still standing! Little prince charming would also like to note that he has been begging his mom to post more "setting up the tree" pictures and she just won't do it... Don't blame him, blame his mama! Those pictures are coming soon!

Prince Charming would also like to announce that his christmas tree has sprouted!!!! It popped through the soil on December 4th.. I just haven't gotten to posting the picture until now!

Finally, little prince charming would like to give a shout out to Marisa (his future 1st grade teacher and his mama's car buddy) for giving us this very cool snowman advent calendar! This picture was taken on the 1st of December but we have been super good about flipping over the tiles each day!
And can you believe that now the entire top row is all flipped over... This Christmas season is going by WAY too fast!

Reading

I love seeing this!
Usually I see a little boy tossing all his books off the bookshelf and onto the floor but sometimes I will find him sitting on the floor looking through the books.
LOVE IT.
