Perfect Teeth!

Caydin went to the dentist on Thursday 8/7 to get his teeth checked and cleaned! He came out with perfect teeth.  The dentist even let us know that his top tooth is loose!

So not ready for a toothless smile! :)

Visit with our Bestests!

Just one more visit before we head back to school! And BOY, did we have fun! Well the drive wasn't that fun.  Wyatt plugged his ears and sang on the top of his lungs the ENTIRE. WAY. THERE.  Wait.  Not the entire way.  He stopped singing long enough to tell me he had to go potty while we were on the highway!

 

But we finally got to Catherine's and we had a great time!  The boys played in the sprinkler outside with shaving cream when I got to play with Annabelle!  Win! Win! 

 

After lunch, the rain clouds started rolling in so it was time to head home! Wyatt was asleep within 5 minutes of getting on the road and Caydin followed soon after.

A visit with our favorite people!

We were so excited to head beachside last Friday for a visit

with our bestests!  The boys love to play together.  Caydin and Wyatt loved getting to play with some nerf guns!  I loved getting to hold Annabelle!  I can't believe how stinkin' cute the boys looked holding Annabelle.  (AND NO, I don't plan on any more babies... anytime soon!)

Livin' in the pool this summer!

We love the pool!  We swim almost every afternoon, sometimes we are in there a couple times during the day!  The boys S.L.E.E.P great on pool days!

Wyatt is getting very confident in the water.  He will put face completely in the water now on his own.  He can also jump in by himself and swim back to the surface.  He can jump in, turn around, and swim to the wall.  We still need to work on swimming forward.  Luckily, he loves to under a float or pool noodle to get around!

Caydin is our fish.  He would stay in the water from morning to night if we let him! Lately, we find him more in the deep end of the pool than the shallow end.  Such a great swimmer!

Watermelon 5K

Caydin's first 5K!

 

Early on the 4th of July, we woke up and headed to Winter Park for a 5K!  Caydin was excited to get to do a run with Mommy.  I don't think he had any clue just how long 3.1 miles was! LOL! Thankfully, he had his best buddies Ava and Arwen there to do it with him!  OH, and his excavator! I threatened to throw away his excavator if he asked me to hold it! No worries though, he held it the ENTIRE 3.1 miles!

 

I can't wait to do our next Mommy/Caydin 5K!

 

 

Giraffes and bestests!

Last weekend we headed over to the zoo to see our bestests and meet our newest mini bestest! They were running a little late (dang doctor appointment) so the boys and I did a little exploring.  We headed to our favorite spot first - the giraffes!

While we loved seeing the giraffes, we loved seeing our friends more! Landen and Caydin have been hanging out since they were newborns! Caydin gets so excited to see Landen! :)  It's hard to believe that they will both be 6 in a couple weeks! Before we know it, we will be posting their newborn playdate picture next to their high school graduation picture!  SLOW DOWN TIME!

To make the day EVEN better, we got to see Annabelle!  She slept the entire time we were at the zoo but I got to hold her for a little bit during lunch! Can't wait to see her again!
