The day my belly looked like a basketball..... {and other random pictures!}

Here is Wyatt, the basketball, at 33 weeks and 2 days.  Caydin is getting better about taking pictures and will often ask to be in one or two as long as someone else is in the picture with him! I wonder if he will want to be in any pictures with Wyatt!!!  (Probably not - but a girl can hope right?!?)

Here is the UPS guy in his winter outfit! We went to Boo at the Zoo yesterday and he was dressed in his "summer attire!"  i.e.  shorts instead of pants.  He is very very proud of his costume and pretends to be the UPS guy all the time now.  I guess that is what happens when you let him pick out the outfit.  Last year, it took all the way until Halloween afternoon to get him to go near his Pirate costume.  This year, he'll put it on whenever we ask him too!
Cooler weather means getting out some new jeans.  This summer, he had to wear a lot of 24 month shorts because the 2T's would just fall off -  shorts don't have that super cool adjustable button on the inside like most of his jeans do!  We were excited to get out his 3T pants for fall and winter! Thank goodness for those already mentioned adjustable buttons!  He needs 3T clothing for the length! :)
He is also a huge fan right now of water bottles and water.  Usually he will ask for milk first, then water, then juice.  Strange kid.

Caydin learns the letter T

I have soooooo much to post!
(Good thing I have NOTHING planned for tomorrow!)

Caydin learned the letter T two weeks ago at school.  I know I missed a couple more letters but here are some of the things we did at home to go along with his "T" lessons at school.

Warning:: Wearing shorts in our house is completely over-rated!

First, we matched up color words to pictures of turtles with colorful shells!

Then we matched lowercase and capital "T's" with matching turtles!

 We played with trains!
And worked on fine motor skills with a snack of cherrios and a "T" worksheet!
Finally, it was off to school skills class! It was the first time that I've gotten to take him to class (because I'm always working!!!) so I pretended like it was his first day and took pictures!  Grandma was off in Tally with baby John and Daddy had to work so I took the day off of school and stayed home with Caydin!  We had lots of fun! While Caydin was at school, I went to Kohl's and then lunch with Aunt Julie!  After naptime, we went to Home Depot of pots and dirt, then picked out Caydin's Halloween costume at Party City! Such a fun day - I'm so glad I took the day off!

 Mr. John (5 days old!)
Big boy Caydin doing some studying!
He thought the bed was more comfortable this way...
 Mr. John (6 days old!)

Grandma has doubled her number of grandchildren and is so excited about it!
Plus 6-day-old babies who suck their thumb... is so stinkin cute!

How high can you throw??

They weather was cool one morning last weekend so we headed outside to fix the bushes in the front yard and play.  Caydin tried to throw the ball high up into the sky.  Then he figured it would be easier to throw the ball at the branch of the palm tree.  :) I, of course, took on the job of picture taking since I didn't want to bend to pick weeds!!!!

After awhile, Caydin got bored with throwing his ball into the palm tree so he practiced falling down....
jumping to touch the branches himself....
 and bug hunting....
:)

Our grass was in serious need for a mowing!!!!

JUST THOUGHT I'D SHARE THAT THIS POST MARKS MY 555th POST! WOW!

After lots and lots of putting off, we (I mean ROB) finally headed outside to mow the grass.  It was seriously long.  :)  The violation notice might of helped get him motivated to do it too - not that we pay much attention to the notices... Rob is on the HOA afterall! :)

Whenever Rob is outside mowing the grass, Caydin has to be out there too! And in true Caydin-fashion, he had to mow with his mower too.  He also made me asked me to put a bag on the back of his mower to collect the grass.

Tee-tee and Elyse came over half way through to see us!  Tee-tee was nice enough to clean our kitchen! They both stayed for dinner and made us a yummy dessert.  Elyse was kind enough to find the "friend" in the 3rd picture!  (I guess thats what happens when you let your grass get really long!)  Elyse didn't like our "friend" much but Caydin sure did!  (Let me tell you, our "friend" wasn't so smart - the little thing ran onto our backporch instead of the woods when we were trying to get rid of him!!!!)

Hooray!

Caydin is very excited to announce that he got a new COUSIN (he has a few cousins but they live very far away and he has not gotten to meet them yet) today!!!!!!  He is alittle confused as to why baby John has his middle name but we're working on that!  ;)
I'm excited about being an AUNT for the first time!

John Michael IV was born today alittle after 1 pm.

We can't wait to drive over and meet him next weekend!

We can hardly wait for Thanksgiving and Christmas this year! So many little guys to celebrate with!

Congrats to John and Jen :)

Picture taken with Rob's phone while at lunch yesterday! Baby Wyatt has been in my belly for exactly 32 weeks!  Too bad you can't see the big ol' belly in this picture! :)
