Busy Day

We had a VERY BUSY Sunday! 

We started with our first trip to ChuckECheese for Ryu's 3rd birthday party! Caydin loved all the games and noise and flashing lights.  He liked watching the tickets that Rob or I won come out of the machines and did pretty well playing the bowling game where you try to roll that ball and get into the holes -  and the higher up holes are worth more points (I forgot what it is called)!  He didn't hate ChuckE and didn't really like him either.  Rob tried to get him to stand near ChuckE but Caydin wasn't having it!  (I forgot my camera at home - so no pictures!)

After a good nap, Ryu came over and we headed over to UCF to see the Elmo Show.  Caydin did such a good job at the MickeyMouse show back in March that we thought we'd go again!  He was equally amazed with all the lights/characters/songs this time!  He sat so still and watched so intently! 

The kids wouldn't stay still for a picture so we had the Grandma's get in the picture with them! LOL!

 Elmo, errrr - everyone except Elmo, visits Hawaii (for a show called Elmo 1-2-3, there definitely wasn't very much of him! Or maybe he was always hiding when we got the camera out?!?)

Best Buds

Caydin loves seeing his friends every week.  All the older boys love to run and chase eachother (and get into trouble).  Caydin throws tantrums when its time to leave so I know he always has a good time!  Lately, he asks about his friends and usually will say they are bye bye at random times during the day so I know he misses them after playgroup is over!  Usually he asks about Ryu but today he was worried about Ava (he calls her Av-ee) and kept saying over and over "Av-ee bye bye, Av-ee bye bye."  Not to worry son, you'll see Av-ee again tomorrow! (Insert big smile here!)

 Caydin's other best bud is his friend, the frog.  The frog hangs out on Caydin's highchair all the time (I guess he likes food?!?!) Caydin always shares and is very polite! HAHA! And of course, frog gets the best seat in the house for TV time .. you know, on top of Cay-man's head! Swwwwwhhhheeet!

Pretend Play - Kitchen

Caydin has really been into his kitchen toys lately.  He loves to dump ALL his play food on the grill and close the grill lid.  I think it's his version of Stir Fry...  He loves to make ice cream cones and share with everyone in the room.  You pretend to eat one flavor, while he's busy making your second cone.  Thank goodness its all pretend... because I'm sure we'd all weigh 300 pounds by now!

What, doesn't everyone use a play frying pan to hold sippy cups??

Caydin is also starting to put the pretend food on the plates and use the fork/spoon to eat it.  Watching him play in the kitchen area is a lot of fun!

Waves

Another great weekend at the beach!

We all had a fun time!  Aunt Katie got to read alittle, I got to play with pictures some, Rob got to brave the waves with the boogie board, my mom got to relax... in 5 minute intervals... and Caydin got to play, play, PLAY!

This weekend was alittle different than the past couple of weekends in that the waves were insane! Thanks Hurricane Igor! We took lots of walks and found lots of jellyfish due to the strong currents and forceful waves!

Mom and I both enjoyed taking pictures of the waves (but I of course... got the better pictures - wink wink). 

Caydin thought the waves were cool too and laughed as we helped him JUMP over them!

He didn't want to go in too deep this time and neither did we! So we spent most of the weekend at the pool! :)
