Happy 15 months little guy!
This month, Caydin is....
**working on some new teeth, and drooling like crazy!
**mastering the art of sippy cups!
**eating solids like crazy {except for veggies... doesn't like those anymore - we have to sneak a serving or two in with yogurt or mixed in with pasta}
**still taking 2 naps a day, one in the morning and one in the afternoon and somehow still manages to be in bed between 9 and 9:30!
**is attending music classes again, and finally starting to interact with the kids and toys more than the doors and toy containers :)
**constantly RUNNING
**said "Bye Mom" once together but says bye and mom/mama all the time. Caydin also says Hi, 'ello {hello}, pla {plane}, dada... and thats pretty much it. He babbles non-stop all day, everyday so when he figures out words... I imagine he will NEVER stop :)
**Caydin has learned to squeeze water out of the bath tub squirters... though he usually squirts the water right into his own face!!! regardless of where he squirts, he laughs!!!
**Caydin loves the outdoors and will stay out there from sunrise to sunset... He has figured out how to slide the sliding glass door to the porch open and comes and goes as he pleases {at least, he wishes he could come and go as he pleases}. We are soooo thankful to have a BIG screened in porch outside that he can play on and us not worry about what trouble he may or may not be getting into!
Sooooooo, we were planning to head over for some pumpkins this past weekend but the church were the Pumpkin Patch is was having a Fall Festival and were decked out with amusement rides and ticket stands. I didn't feel like fighting through the crowds just to get a pumpkin. SoOO, we decided that yesterday {Tuesday} was THE DAY. We kept Caydin up from his afternoon nap and headed over there after I got home from work only to find that the Pumpkin Patch man was gone and the Patch had a sign that said "CLOSED."
So we took a couple pictures and left {making sure to close the gate after us}. The sign that said CLOSED had a name and number on it so one of the college gals called to see what time the guy would be back. He said 6 pm. We came home, put Caydin down for a short nap and planned to go back after nap time.
Fast forward to 6 pm. I woke Caydin up {that child will sleep forever if we let him} and got him ready to go again. We wanted to drive over to get some PUMPKINs since that the whole point of going {actually picture taking was the point, and the pumpkins were the bonus, hehe}.
OH man, did I forget to mention that Caydin was totally NOT interested in the pumpkins... instead he was interested in the cars driving by on the road near the Pumpkin Patch. HEHE!!!
